Cyclist injured in car collision in Gwendraeth Valley

A cyclist was taken to hospital suffering severe whiplash bruising. The circumstances of the collision are unclear, but it is known that it happened during a street Christmas concert at Ysgol y Gwendraeth.

A Dyfed-Powys Police spokeswoman said: “The driver of the car, a 22 year old local man was reported on the roadside for failing to stop and for driving without due care and inquiries continue.”
