Cyclist injured in suspected hit-and-run injury in Canterbury

A Canterbury cyclist was left unconscious on the pavement after a suspected hit-and-run.

The 22-year-old was found seriously injured in Canterbury at about 1.45am on Sunday, July 22, in North Lane at the junction with Station Road West. He was taken to a hospital in Ashord by paramedics. He has since been released.

Kent Police now believe he was hit by a vehicle whose driver then fled. They are appealing for information.
