Cyclist killed in collision on A30 near Sherborne

Incident date:
Thu, 28 Jun 2012

Garry Newsam, 51, died from injuries he received in a collision with a car on the A30 between Sherborne and Yeovil. There is no information in the local media on whether the driver of the car has been arrested.

This stretch of the A30 is the only practical route between the two towns, yet cycling provision is very limited.
