Cyclist seriously injured near Snowhill - no arrest made

The cyclist was hit by the driver of a car and suffered serious injuries.

The incident occurred around 12:35pm on Saturday on Snowhill.

The cyclist was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.

Police say no arrests have been made and next of kin have been informed.

Police are asking witnesses to call 101 quoting incident number 220 from 8/12/12
