Dartmouth collision leads to cyclist's death

A 63 year old male cyclist has died following a collision with a silver Hyundai car whilst cycling on the A379 from the village of Stoke Flemming towards Blackpool Sands.

The collision occurred at 11.50am on Thursday 16 June. The cyclists was taken to Derriford High hospital but later died from his injuries.

The driver of the vehicle is reported to be a local woman and is said to have no injuries. The police are asking any witnesses to contact them by phoning 101 and mentioning log reference number 312 of 16 June.
