Stephen Warrington killed in collision with lorry on A1 - 2nd cyclist in 1 month on the same stretch of road

Stephen Warrington, 60, was hit by a lorry while cycling on the northbound carraigeway of the A1 near Blyth, Nottinghamshire, at 0415.

He is the second cyclist to be killed on the same stretch of the A1 in 1 month. Andrew Ridsdale (http://www.stop-smidsy.org.uk/case-study/andrew-ridsdale-killed-while-ti…) was killed on the southbound carriageway on the 18th March 2012 on a Sunday morning while taking part in a time trial.

Stephen Warrington was from Leicester.
