Samuel Joe Brown, 15, was cycling with a friend when the woman hit them with her vehicle on the B1230 Hull Road at Eastrington, near Goole, on the evening of Thursday 6 September 2012.

The teenager died in hospital shortly afterwards. He had been cycling from Howden to Gilberdyke with a friend, who also required treatment.

The woman, from Knedlington, has been charged with failing to stop at the scene of an accident, failing to report the incident and causing death by careless driving whilst over the legal alcohol limit.
