(UPDATE) Cyclist dies in hospital following Copdock crash

A cyclist has died in hospital after he was involved in a collision with a car near Ipswich.

The crash, involving a Citroen, took place on the southbound carriageway of Old London Road, Copdock, near the Cameo Hotel.

Colin Crowther, 69, from Ipswich was taken to Ipswich Hospital with “life-threatening injuries” and died later that evening.
