A 37-year-old man who knocked down a cyclist as he crossed a junction in Irvinestown claimed he was “adamant” he had a right of way, Fermanagh court has heard.

Two cyclists killed by car in Purley on Thames

Two cyclists were killed when they were struck by a car after police were called to a village.

Officers were responding to a “fear-for-welfare” call in Purley Rise, Purley on Thames, West Berkshire, at about 21:00 GMT on Thursday February 13th.

A black BMW related to the call-out struck the cyclists, who both died at the scene, Thames Valley Police said. The driver was later arrested.

Frank Mugisha killed while cycling in Tottenham

Mr Mugisha, 41, from Enfield, died 6 days after the collision with a car at the junction of Great Cambridge Road and White Hart Lane. He had been in a coma since the crash. He was originally from Uganda but moved with his family to Britain some years ago.
