A cyclist suffered serious injuries in a crash involving a car at Swaffham Prior. No action has been taken against the motorist but Police are appealing for witnesses.

Driver convicted of causing death by dangerous driving despite 'dazzled by sunlight' defence (Sept 2006)

24-year-old Justin John Bright was convicted of killing Andrew Stockdale as he sped along Ringinglow Road in Sheffield at up to 70mph.

The incident occurred in September 2006.

Andrew, who lived in Greystones and worked in computing for HSBC, died after he was hit by Bright’s BMW saloon car as he cycled along the road with an old school friend.
